Frequently Asked Questions

FAQ #1: “How do you pronounce ‘kavage’?”

I say “kav-age” (rhymes with savage).  I know some people say “ka-vage” (rhymes with nothing I can think of off hand).  Either/or is fine.

The irony is, of course, that I am not a coffee drinker.  Iced tea is my caffeine of choice.  When my writer’s group meets,  I sometimes get one of those iced coffee drinks which is really more sugar and chocolate than coffee.  No whipped, though. <g>

FAQ #2: “Why aren’t you on LJ/MySpace/Facebook/Twitter/Blogger?”

            Time.

I am a slow writer and I have family, friends, cats and a day job.  You know, something I like to call my life.  They all require a certain amount of attention and effort.  Especially the cats.

Social networking requires time, time that I could use to stare off into space and plot what horrible . . .er . . . interesting things will happen in my books.

This does not mean I don’t want to hear from my readers.  Please feel free to email me at any time, and if I am not under deadline, I will try to respond directly to you.
